Business of Art is an Affordable Art Fair-led initiative to support art galleries in developing their businesses. The programme was launched in 2016 in Hong Kong and Singapore where it was met with great enthusiasm by local galleries. We are bringing the concept to the UK with a series of professional development and networking sessions, which for the 2018-2019 season will have a key focus on the art buyer and strategies for acquiring, engaging and retaining clients in a competitive market.

The sessions are open to all Affordable Art Fair exhibitors and have been designed with the needs of the entrepreneurial gallerist in mind. We have teamed up with a great selection of industry professionals who will share their expert knowledge on topics such as branding, market strategy and segmentation and the ins and outs of trading internationally. Sessions one and two are brought to you in partnership with Artlogic, world leaders in art industry software who will demonstrate how to streamline inventory and database management at all budget levels.
